Experience Luxury in an Historic Villa

Great traveler, lover of beauty and comfort, mother, lawyer and chef, with a great passion for hospitality expressed in receiving, welcoming and taking care of every possible detail. After having completely renovated the top floor of the Villa, which was usually intended to welcome visiting friends and relatives, Vanessa thought of making her astonishing “house” available to “new friends” who wish to spend some of their time in a corner of paradise.

Villa Domenica first appeared on a map dating back to the year 1611, as it was owned by Cesare Baroci, who likely descended from the noble Barozzi family.
By the late 1600s, it belonged to Gasparo Lombria, along with the farmers’ houses surrounding it.
In the early 1700s, it passed to Gasparo Lombria’s namesake heir, who was married to Isabella Renier, a noblewoman from a prominent Venetian family, and the ancestor of the current owners.
After Mr. Lombria’s passing, the villa went to his sister Laura, who was married to a nobleman from the Priuli family, which traced its lineage back to the eighty-third Doge of Venice, Girolamo Priuli.

At the beginning of the 1800s, the villa came into the possession of Lorenzo Casellati, a member of a prestigious family of notaries, who held it until the 1890s when it was acquired by the Gobbato family.
In 1955, due to a lack of heirs, the villa was left to the Civil Hospital of Treviso, but in 1965, it was bought by Mrs. Graziella Graziani, the mother of the current owner.
Over the years, the villa has undergone constant renovations and modernization. Although it has been registered as a HERITAGE OF FINE ARTS OF VENICE since the 19th century, preserving its original historical structure, shape, and spatial organization has been mandatory.
